In a recent U.S. News & World Report, “One in three full-time employees in some of the world’s largest economies say maintaining a healthy work-life balance has become more difficult in the last five years. In an age where cellphones, emails and video conferences make it increasingly more difficult to leave work at the office, the report highlights a concern of many modern-day professionals who say it’s getting tougher to juggle professional duties and personal responsibilities with only so many hours in the day.
Couple this with the fact that one in 4 adults deal with mental illness, approximately 20% of youth age 13-18 experience some type of mental disorder, 90% of students in grades 4-8 report being victims of bullying, one out of every 68 children have autism, and in 2015, it was reported that 40 to 50% of married couples in the US divorced.
When your work and personal life are both in balance, life is good. But how often is that the case?
